250 Ridge Road West, Oro-Medonte

In the Township of Oro-Medonte, the owner of a 5.21-hectare parcel was in the process of obtaining a Zoning Certificate for a Cannabis Greenhouse facility. During this process, the Township had passed a new Interim Control By-law that prohibited this use in zones which it had previously been permitted under the previous Zoning By-law.  

Design Plan Services Inc. was retained by the owner to assist with the appeal of this By-law to the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) and provided expert planning testimony on behalf of the client at the OLT hearing, helping the client successfully appeal the By-law.
